Keep Growing Detroit Garden Tour 2026

In August, Rooted In CDC had the opportunity to get out and visit some amazing community gardens around Detroit as part of the Keep Growing Detroit Garden Tour, including Marjorie Street Garden, Goethe Community Garden, and Little Detroit Community Garden. We met some great people, saw first hand what other gardens are doing in their neighborhoods, and picked up some new ideas along the way.

Greater is Coming Youth Basketball Academy (Aug 2026)

We had an awesome time yesterday at Lasky Rec center with the Greater is Coming Youth Basketball Academy. Teaching the importance of gardens and planting seeds for the future to the kiddos is always cool.
